NewsDave Matthews Band announces summer tourDave Matthews Band is set to embark on a lengthy US tour, which will kick off the day after they perform the US leg of Live Earth in New Jersey. The band will take a variety of acts on the road, including Toots and the Maytals, Pete Yorn and The Roots. The band will play a handful of shows this month before heading out on a tour of Australia and Europe, which will wrap up in Wembley Arena on May 30. They will perform along with The Police, Bon Jovi, Sheryl Crow and more at the Live Earth concert on July 7 at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The concert is the US leg of a seven-continent, 24-hour event, which will bring together more than 2 billion people worldwide to combat the climate crisis. Mutya Buena, Lena Rez, Seth Lakeman, Captain, Chungking and Jesse Malin are also confirmed for the two-day bash, which takes place over the weekend of August 18-19 in Chelmsford and Staffordshire. As previously reported on NME.COM, Foo Fighters, The Killers and Snow Patrol will headline the two-day bash.
